ALLEN LANDVER

Allen Landver is a creative leader hired by global agencies, brands, and organizations to help them communicate a story. Clients include Nike, Samsung, and SoFi. Allen lives in Los Angeles with his family and stubborn pitbull, and is the author of the newsletter BASKETBALLWEATHER, which explores culture and art through an NBA lens.

PROVIDENCE HEALTH, SENIOR CONTENT DESIGNER (2024)

  • Transformed gaps into opportunities across major hospital system, and used storytelling across various communication platforms (web, MyChart, email, white paper, text, push, etc) to implement and drive adoption of transformative experiences for patients, such as access to urgent medical needs and financial assistance.

  • Worked as the key content designer, copywriter and storyteller on the Revenue Cycle team (RevCycle), a multi-disciplinary design team comprised of strategists, researchers, and designers who serve the entire Providence org.

  • Developed simple and effective prompts for AI tools, and optimized conversational flows.

  • Created assets that focused on improving experiences for patients at all income levels. Communications that reflect their medical, psychological, and financial needs, and the needs of the business simultaneously.

  • Developed tutorials, manuals, landing pages, and more communications for Providence caregivers (employees), whose roles are high stress and equally as important to ensure high level care for patients.

  • Served patients and caregivers by working to improve physical touch-points  (signs, flyers, screens, et al) at clinics, hospitals, cancer centers, ERs, and beyond, essential wayfinding touchpoints to help patients access care.

  • Worked with design leaders to help make Providence a center for world class, accessible and inclusive healthcare.

  • Developed stories, white papers, and awards submissions to boost the profile of the RevCycle team and advocate for our work within the larger Providence organization.

NIKE, ACD (2023)

  • Led and developed social-first video campaign for Nike/NBA around 2023 NBA Playoffs. Campaign centered around NBA

    superstars Kevin Durant, Ja Morant, Devin Booker, and Nikola Jokic, and the fans who idolize them.

  • Created, developed, and executed scripts in collaboration with Creative Director and team of creatives.

  • Revised campaign scripts based on client feedback and the needs of production team.

  • Managed creative team during production process.

  • Worked hand-in-hand with animators, storyboard artists, editors, and graphic designers to perfect the assets in post.

    WALMART, SENIOR COPYWRITER (2023)

    SOFI, SENIOR COPYWRITER (2022)

  • Senior Copywriter at SoFi’s in-house agency on the Lending Team.

  • Responsible for 360 life-cycle-marketing campaigns, with deliverables including emails, push, banners, landing

    pages, web pages, SMS, social, and more, primarily with an eye toward customer acquisition and retention.

  • Developed multiple campaigns in various lending funnels, including Credit Card, Student Loan, and Mortgage.

  • Managed Copywriters and Designers, walking them through strategic thinking behind campaign concepts.

  • Collaborated with designers, project managers, branding experts, copywriters, creative directors, as well as Product Leads and

    clients from the bank on top performing marketing materials.

KEY BANK / KEY DESIGN STUDIO, SENIOR CONTENT DESIGNER (2021)

  • Senior Content Designer for Key Bank’s consumer banking clients. Various initiatives in both Content Design and Marketing.

  • Led content strategy on Laurel Road, a qualitative user study designed to understand the values, mindsets, needs, and behaviors of doctors, dentists, and nurses. *Laurel Road is an investment product for healthcare professionals.

  • Lead content designer on Key Bank “Bill Pay Project,” created to explore what bill pay features are most relevant to Key’s banking clients.

  • Macro thinking and micro execution. UI messaging tiles, push notifications, alerts, emails, etc — across email, phone, and app. 

  • Collaborated with researchers, creative directors, designers, product owners, product managers, and engineers in a fast-paced, agile, environment to service demands of product owners throughout Key Bank’s expansive organization.

  • Developed strategic content for Quest, an in-house CRM and process management product.

  • Created and optimized content for LLC, Corp, and DBA products, which are the highest grossing legal products at Legal Zoom.

    ERICSSON, SENIOR COPYWRITER

  • Developed marketing strategy and assets for ERICSSON ONE, an initiative created by Ericsson to empower innovation amongst its employees.

  • Created scripts for promo videos.

  • Collaborated with Project Managers, Strategists, Visual Designers and Stakeholders from Ericsson to ensure integrity of deliverables.

  • Created Newsletters, Save the Dates, invites, and various other marketing material to promote the platform to Ericsson employees.

    SAMSUNG, SENIOR CONTENT DESIGNER

  • Senior Content Designer for Samsung's Galaxy s8 Voice Agent.

  • Developed the tone, style, and architecture of the chatbot— over 100K lines of voice interaction.

  • Created copy for Voice Agent’s User Manual and other user oriented copy.

  • Collaborated with a small team of US writers, as well as bi-lingual writers and reps from Korea  to revise and edit the voice.
